This Privacy Policy describes how Qalam Digital (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use our mobile application Muraajah Map, available on the Google Play Store.

1. Information We Collect

When you use Muraajah Map, we collect the following personal data upon account creation:

• First Name

• Email Address

• Password (securely stored in hashed form)

We do not collect any other personal or sensitive information from your device.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information for the following purposes:

• To create and manage your user account

• To securely store your Hifz (Quran memorization) revision reports

• To send you email reminders for your muraajah (review) schedule, only if you opt-in via your app settings

3. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not share, sell, rent, or trade your personal data with any third parties outside of Qalam Digital. Access to your data is restricted to authorized members of our team solely for the purpose of maintaining and improving the app.

4. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information:

• Passwords are securely hashed and never stored in plain text

• Data is transmitted over secure, encrypted channels (HTTPS)

• Access controls and internal policies limit access to your data

Despite these efforts, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We recommend users also take precautions to protect their accounts.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You have full control over your data, and you may delete your account and all associated data at any time via:

• The Settings page in the Muraajah Map app

• Or by sending a request to qalammartapps@gmail.com

Upon deletion, all user data is permanently and irreversibly removed from our systems within 7 days.

6. How to Delete Your Account

To delete your Muraajah Map account and all associated data:

1. Navigate to the Settings page using the bottom navigation bar in the app

2. Select the row titled “Delete Account”

3. Click Confirm on the following modal

If you prefer to delete your account outside of the app, please email us at qalammartapps@gmail.com with your request.

7. Children’s Privacy

Muraajah Map does not knowingly collect data from children under the age of 13 without parental consent. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a child, please contact us immediately.

8. Your Privacy Rights

You may:

• Review or update your information from within the app

• Opt-in or opt-out of email reminders via the Settings page

• Request deletion of your account and data at any time

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page and, where appropriate, notified within the app. Continued use of the app after changes indicates your acceptance of the updated policy.
